The 4th and 5th generation AMD EPYC 9004 and 9005 series processors, built on 5nm technology, support up to 160 400W cores, 1152 MB L3 cache, and 24 DIMMs for DDR5 memory with speeds of up to 6000 MT/s.
Each processor features 12 DIMM channels, with a total DDR5 memory capacity of up to 6 TB, providing higher memory bandwidth and performance, along with lower power requirements.
It supports hot-swappable, high-availability RAID M.2 boot options.

Included the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) server management software, allowing you to seamlessly and securely configure, monitor, and update HPE ProLiant Gen11 servers from anywhere.
New features include PCIe Gen5 EDSFF support and up to 8 times single-width and 4 times double-width GPU support.
The PCIe Gen5 serial expansion bus offers advanced data transfer rates and higher network speeds, with up to 2x16 PCIe Gen5 and two OCP slots.

The HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen11 server is closely connected with a silicon root of trust and an AMD Secure Processor (a dedicated security processor embedded in the AMD EPYC system on chip (SoC)) for managing secure boot, memory encryption, and secure virtualization. Gen11 servers use a silicon root of trust to anchor the firmware of HPE ASICs, creating an immutable fingerprint for the AMD Secure Processor that must match completely before the server boots. This verifies whether malicious code is under control and ensures that the healthy server is protected. |  |
